About us

IVI is a truly international organization that has work across multiple regions.
IVI is a non-profit international organization, founded in 1997 as an initiative of the United Nations Development Program. We work to discover, develop, and deliver safe, effective and affordable vaccines for developing countries throughout Africa, Asia and South America.

Since the world’s first low-cost oral cholera vaccine was brought to market by IVI, more than 40 million doses have been administered in over 20 countries worldwide, protecting over 20 million people from cholera. We constantly strive to innovate and work with different partners around the world to outsmart dangerous epidemics with vaccines and rid the world of infectious diseases.

Building upon our 22 years of impact in global health, IVI is rapidly expanding and continuously seeking people who are passionate about making the world a safer place for everyone – free of suffering from infectious diseases. We regularly need talented and qualified individuals from within the vaccine and global health sectors as our researchers, laboratory scientists, public health professionals and administrative staff. At IVI, you will intrinsically feel the impact of your work helping to save and improve the lives of the world’s most vulnerable.

If you want to use your talent and expertise to make a meaningful difference in global health, take a look at our current vacancies and join our multicultural team.
