IVI’s 22nd International Vaccinology Course

Bouncing back from COVID-19: Lessons for vaccinology

September 11-15, 2023

Established in 2000, IVI’s International Vaccinology Course (IVC) is one of the longest running vaccinology courses in the Asia-Pacific region. This training program to build knowledge and practical skills related to the science of vaccines and how they are developed is a vital component of IVI’s work to accelerate safe, effective, and affordable vaccines for global health.

The 5-day course is held every year at IVI headquarters in Seoul and aims to train vaccine professionals from low- and middle-income countries with world-renowned experts from various fields in vaccinology, immunology, epidemiology, and more as faculty members. For over 20 years, the course has trained nearly 5,000 vaccine professionals worldwide and certified an additional 1,100 participants through an online course, fostering lasting collaborative partnerships in research and public health.

Following the launch of IVI’s Europe Regional Office in 2022, the IVC has been hosted at a partner site in Stockholm in addition to the flagship venue in Seoul. Follow this page for more information and the developing course curriculum.
