Senior Management

Tharinee Sakhakorn is the Program Director of EPIC Research Affairs at the International Vaccine Institute (IVI), where she leads the planning, management, and implementation of research initiatives. She provides strategic direction to ensure projects achieve their objectives and remain aligned with IVI’s priorities. In addition, she serves as Technical Lead, represents the program to external stakeholders, and guides the development of long-term programmatic plans.
With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Tharinee has built a career spanning clinical operations, change management, quality risk management, and training, with a strong focus on vaccine development and global health. Before joining IVI, she was Regional Director for South-East Asia at P95, a global research provider specializing in vaccines and infectious diseases.
She has also held senior leadership roles at major biopharmaceutical companies, including Senior Director of Operations Management at Clover Biopharmaceuticals; Country Head of Clinical Operations at Roche Thailand; Training Director for the Vaccines Business Unit at Takeda in Switzerland; and Regional Manager of Quality Risk Management and Training for Emerging Markets at GSK Vaccines in Belgium.
Tharinee holds a Master of Science in Biology from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University in Louisiana, USA.
