Sunee Chuasuwan, M.Sc.
Sunee Chuasuwan serves as the Clinical Operations and Trial Management Head at the International Vaccine Institute (IVI), overseeing and guiding the clinical operation team for various research studies and clinical trials at IVI. In this role, she is responsible for process improvement, training, and support of new initiatives to ensure the efficient execution of all studies sponsored or assisted by IVI, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Sunee joined IVI in June 2020 as a Project Manager for the Global Chikungunya Clinical Development Program. Successfully launching and completing the phase 2 study, she showcased her expertise in both Clinical Operation and Project Management. Subsequently, Sunee assumed the position of Head of Clinical Operation and Trial Management for the CARE Unit, further utilizing her skills in supporting and advancing vital studies.
With a passion for contributing to the clinical trial industry, Sunee has dedicated her career since 2000 to working with pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations (CROs), and non-profit organizations. Her specialization lies in vaccine trials, including mega-vaccine studies and pivotal vaccine trials. Her extensive experience includes serving as Project Lead or Clinical Research Manager for Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 clinical trials, covering various indications such as COVID-19, dengue, chikungunya, cholera, hepatitis, varicella, and other infectious diseases.
Sunee holds an honors bachelor’s degree in nursing science and a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Chiang Mai University, Thailand.
