Jonathan Lee is the Head of Human Resources at the International Vaccine Institute (IVI). With nearly two decades of HR experience, he leads IVI’s global people strategy and teams across all aspects of HR, including recruitment, talent development, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and expatriate services. His teams position HR as a strategic partner to the organization’s leadership and are responsible for ensuring that IVI attracts, supports, and retains world-class talent across its international offices.

Prior to joining IVI, Jonathan held HR leadership roles in multinational corporations and research organizations. He began his career at General Electric in the United States, where he participated in the HR Leadership Program and gained extensive experience in HR management and labor relations, supporting engineering and manufacturing teams. He later worked at Samsung Global Research in Seoul, focusing on HR strategy, employee relations, and internal consulting to support the Samsung Group’s affiliates. His career has consistently centered on building people strategies that enable organizational growth, innovation, and resilience.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a master’s degree in Human Resources and Employment Relations from Penn State University.
