Vaccination is one of humanity’s greatest achievements, reducing the burden of infectious diseases and saving millions of lives around the world every year. Behind every dose lies a deeper story: of science and discovery, of care and commitment, of individuals and communities united in the pursuit of a healthier future.

The International Vaccine Institute—an international organization whose mission is to discover, develop, and deliver safe, effective, and affordable vaccines, empowering vaccine equity, impact, and sustainability globally—invites you to participate in its 4th International Photo Contest.

Through this global photography contest, we seek to elevate those stories—to capture the human face of vaccines and vaccination, especially in low- and middle-income countries where we work. Whether your lens finds brilliance in the lab, action in the field, or resilience in the faces of frontline heroes, we invite you to help us tell the story of vaccination in action.

Prizes

• Grand prize (1 winner): US$2,000
• Gold prize (1 winner): US$1,000
• Silver prize (2 winners): US$500 each
• Bronze prize (6 winners): US$200 each
• Honorable mentions
• All entries may be featured in IVI’s publications, website, or social media channels
• The photographer will be credited when the photo is used, whenever possible, as: IVI/[Photographer’s Name]

Eligibility

• Open to all individuals aged 18 or older, except IVI employees

Submission guidelines

• Each entrant may submit up to five photographs. Each photograph must be submitted as a separate submission
• Photos must be original works taken on or after 1 January 2022
• Format: JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF, TIFF
• Minimum size: 4000 x 3000 pixels
• Original files may be requested for selected entries
• There is no entry fee
• All submissions must comply with the official Terms of Use
