IVI and Botswana

Official Relations

In October 2025, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Botswana communicated Botswana’s intention to become an IVI member State. In December 2025, the IVI Board of Trustees voted to approve Botswana’s accession as an IVI member state.

Botswana has not yet deposited an instrument of accession to the IVI Establishment Agreement with the United Nations Treaty Office.
