Orange Life Insurance, a leading insurer (CEO: Munkuk CHEONG), has donated a total of 120 million KRW jointly with 26 professional golfers from LPGA and KLPGA through its annual golf competition to support IVI’s Covid-19 vaccine development efforts.
The donation was raised through the 2020 Orange Life Champions Trophy Park Inbee Invitational, which concluded in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province on August 9, and delivered through the Korea Support Committee for IVI. 13 players from LPGA participated in the event, including Ryu Soyeon, IVI’s Goodwill Ambassador, and Park Inbee, as well as 13 players from KLPGA.
Orange Life plans to make an additional donation of up to 20 million KRW through a CSR marketing campaign for IVI in the coming weeks. Orange Life is an affiliate of Shinhan Financial Group, one of the largest financial institutions in Korea.
