‘제1회 국제보건 유스 리더십(G-HYL) 포럼’ 개최
IVI는 더불어민주당 전혜숙 의원(보건복지위원회/서울 광진갑)과 공동으로 5월 13일(토) 오후 국회의원회관에서 ‘제1회 국제보건 유스 리더십(G-HYL) 포럼'을 개최했다. 이날 포럼은 국제보건 및 국제개발협력에 관심을 가진 150여명의 대학생 및 중·고등학생들을 대상으로 세계적 관점에서 건강과 보건의료에 대한 이해를 제고하고, 국제기구 취업을 위한 실질적인 정보와 지식을 제공하는 프로그램으로 진행됐다. 행사는 제롬 김 사무총장의 환영사와 전혜숙 의원의 개회사에 이어, 서울대학교 보건대학원 김선영 교수가 ‘보건과 개발의 중요성’에 대해, IVI의 백남선 박사와 월드비전의 최순영 팀장이 ‘국제보건분야에서의 협력과 파트너십'을 주제로 강의했으며, 글로벌잡스 이병주 교수가 국제기구 취업에 대해 자세한 안내와 질의 응답의 시간을 가졌다.
