We are seeking a IT Helpdesk Technician tor for a 1-year contract position to work within the IT Department at the International Vaccine Institute in Seoul, Korea.
Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing efficient IT support to staff and assist in IT network infrastructure and server administration.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Client support
- Offering technical assistance on the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Responding to queries on the phone, via email, in person, or through remote access.
- Provide training to users on using the applications and services.
- Support network engineer in planned upgrade and troubleshoot client problems.
- Provide IT support for various IVI meetings / events
- IT Procurement
- Interact and conduct price negotiation with vendors for software and hardware procurements.
- Support network engineer in IT device purchase, asset registration, monthly payment, etc.
- Network administration support
- Monitor network equipment’s, traffic, and reporting to Network Engineer/ IT operations manager
- Support to monitor and stabilize wireless infrastructure with powerful security.
- Support network engineer in planned upgrade and troubleshoot client problems.
- Log Report: Prepare the user/entitlement report/access log/audit trail periodically
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Computer Science or related field
- Related Field Work Experience
- 0 ~ 1+ years
- Technical and Professional Skills / Knowledge
- Knowledge in Windows & Other Operating Systems and Client, software such MS-Office, MS Project, other client software
- Experience in Server & Network Administration, Knowledge of Networking equipment and protocols
- Certification in Microsoft/ Cisco products
- Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English
