Cartier Korea, the local branch of the renowned French jeweler, has agreed to support IVI¡¯s global efforts to make life-saving vaccines available to the world¡¯s poorest children by becoming an IVI Giving Club.
The company pledged to donate to IVI this year all the proceeds from sales of 100 of its new limited edition bracelet, ¡°Love Charity,¡± during a ceremony held at IVI on May 7 to welcome the company as an IVI Giving Club member. Starting in June, the bracelet will be sold in its boutique shops across Korea, in part of a ¡°Cartier Love Day¡± charity campaign staged across the globe by the 160-year-old company.
The IVI Giving Club is a group donation program through which companies or organizations contribute 10 million Won or more or the in-kind equivalent to IVI each year through its own budget and/or through in-house fundraising. The program currently has eight members.
Mr. Philippe Galtie, head of Cartier Korea, said ¡°Cartier is honored to have the opportunity to join the important mission of IVI to improve and save the lives of the world¡¯s children through vaccines, together with our customers in Korea where IVI is based.¡±
