Singer Cho Yong-pil has concluded his concert tour for the IVI with concerts in Seoul, Busan and Gwangju in December. Cho, the king of Korean pop music, has held ¡°Cho Yong-pil Concerts with IVI¡± for the past nine months since April.
Cho, widely popular throughout his 40-year singing career, has promoted the IVI through his concerts that took him to over 15 cities nation-wide this year. He will also donate a portion of the proceeds from this year¡¯s concerts to the Institute. The concert tour is supported jointly by the Korea Support Committee for IVI, the vaccine producer, Green Cross, and The Team Communication, a public relations and event organizing agency and IVI Giving Club member.

Meanwhile, expatriates and Korean volunteers jointly hosted a charity bazaar at Hyundai Department Store in Seoul on September 24, and raised over $ 7,000. Among contributors to the event were: apparel maker Missing Dorothy (IVI Giving Club); the volunteer group, Grapevine for IVI; fashion designer Andre Kim (IVI Goodwill Ambassador); beauty salon Lee Kyung Min Foret (Giving Club); music producer Trinity Music; and June Plus.
