Dr. John Clemens, Director-General of the IVI, urges public
support of the Institute’s global vaccine research in the IVI´s public
service announcement. Daekyo Kids TV, Korea´s leading cable channel targeting
children and parents, has aired about 250 spots of this 40-second PSA
a month over the past one year, free of charge.

Daekyo Kids TV, a leading cable channel catering to children and parents in Korea, has broadcast the IVI’s public service announcement (PSA) free of charge over the past year. 

Daekyo Kids TV has aired the PSA from November 2008 to November 2009 to help increase public awareness of the Institute and the importance of vaccines for the world’s poor. The Seoul-based cable channel aired about 250 spots per month of the 40-second PSA throughout its network across Korea during this period.

The PSA features IVI Director-General Dr. John Clemens, and IVI Goodwill Ambassador Jeong Jun-ho, a popular Korean movie actor, who have urged public support for humanitarian vaccine research.
